Hi, I’m Karen

Apiarist

As a lifelong nature-lover, I took the opportunity to turn retirement into a new season of life, and began beekeeping.

I started out with one hive, and today, I have a beautiful bee house surrounded by a stream, two ponds, and a greenhouse, all to support my bees. This allows me to create the highest quality raw, unfiltered honey, and even expand my creativity to flavored options and custom orders. I look forward to sharing Mother Nature’s nectar with you!

“We are custodians of the landscape,
which is to be cherished and passed on to future generations.
It is our responsibility to care for & preserve our environment,
ensuring that its beauty and resources endure for those who follow,
leaving a legacy of stewardship and respect.”

The highest standard of care for the bees, the Earth, and you

  • The health and well-being of the bees are paramount, and I refrain from removing honey, wax, or other essential resources, such as pollen, unless it is surplus and not necessary for their survival.

  • Herbicides, pesticides, or any other chemicals are strictly prohibited as they may harm pollinators,
    both indoors and outdoors.

  • A chemical-free environment means plants are carefully cultivated to provide food for bees, birds, and butterflies.
Additionally, we implement composting and rainwater collection practices to contribute to sustainability.

  • We firmly believe that everyone possesses the power to effect positive change for pollinators.
Whether through becoming a beekeeper or simply raising awareness within their community, every individual can make a meaningful difference.
